MADE IN AKITA brings together sake, wine, and craft beer from a handful of small producers in Akita, Japan — a quiet region shaped by deep snow, clear water, and generations of patient craft. We don't do mass production. Every bottle we ship carries a maker's name, not just a label.

Our Mission
We started MADE IN AKITA because we couldn't shake the feeling that something remarkable was staying local. Akita's producers pour real skill and care into what they make, yet most of it never travels beyond the prefecture. We wanted to change that — to carry it across the sea at the value it deserves, without asking producers to compromise or customers to settle. A relationship that's good for everyone, without the hard sell. That's what we're building.
In practice, that means working directly with each producer rather than through a chain of distributors, keeping our range small enough that every bottle in it has been chosen rather than simply stocked, and shipping from a single European hub so a restaurant, shop, or individual buyer can start with one bottle instead of a pallet.
